We have now renovated over 450 culverts for Network Rail throughout the UK over the past 5 years, giving iLine Technologies unrivalled experience in the installation of UV GRP liners. The UV cure process (in comparison to hot-cure lining processes) is not only very fast to install with liner curing rates of 1m per minute being possible resulting in a Fully structural standalone new pipe. But is also safe, environmental friendly, and is a fully portable system which requires minimal enabling works, no curing water or disposal of contaminated water and no possible pollution risks from styrene. iLine Technologies have installed more large diameter liners in the UK than any other contractor using UV light curing technology. The crew using this system and installing on your site, are the same gang which installed the first every UV liner in the UK back in 2002. This is the same gang that installed the thickest UV liner in the world at 30 mm thick and also installed in 2021 ,the one of the largest and thickest UV liner at DN1800 x 21 mm thick. Large diameter pipelines and culverts represent the backbone of any city’s utility network for the collection and disposal of sewerage and effective drainage of stormwater. In many cases the fabric of these pipelines, which may consist of brick, stone, concrete or clay ware will have been constructed decades ago and although proven resilient, has eventually succumbed to the ravages of time, suffering the effects of H2S attack or erosion and may even be exhibiting signs of imminent failure due to structural loading beyond that of its remaining capability. At this point the need arises to consider the means by which the structural rehabilitation of these pipelines and ducts can be achieved whereby a new, 100-year plus life expectancy can be provided with a high degree of confidence. Bespoke GRP Fully structural, flexible liner panels can be manufactured as either a one piece or multi segmental liner to any shape, size & form up to 7m in diameter. Capable of negotiating bends, transitioning from one size and shape to another and can be installed with flow running through the units (within limits) .They can also accommodate utilities crossing the culvert without the need to divert these utilities and can be manufactured to have different internal and external corrosion barriers. When it comes to environmental considerations, mammal ledges, fish baffles to slow the flow and help fish breeding and Bat roosts can be built into these GRP units.
