Thomas Reed

Technical Director, COWI

Thomas is a Technical Director for COWI in Norway. He has more than 17 years’ experience with several different aspects within bridges.

Thomas worked for 13 years in the Norwegian Directorate of Public Roads with rules and regulations before joining COWI in 2020. In COWI, he has responsibility for development, knowledge-sharing and quality. He has also been project manager for various bridge projects.

Thomas is a member of the IABSE Steering committee in Norway. He is also a member of the Norwegian Steel Committee contributing to the development of international and European standards in steel structures.
