Andrew Arundel

Andrew Arundel is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, bringing over 30 years of industry experience - predominantly in bridge engineering. His career spans both the public and private sectors, including roles within local government as a client, and in the private sector with major contractors and consultancy firms. This diverse background has given him a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure delivery from multiple perspectives. Andrew joined the Humber Bridge Board in 2017 as Head of Infrastructure and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in February 2020. In his role as CEO, he is responsible for the strategic leadership, operation, and long-term maintenance of the iconic Humber Bridge and its associated highway infrastructure.
