Steve Davy

Head of Technical Standards, National Highways

Steve has led the changes to the DMRB that were published in 2020 and is now leading the change to the MCHW including the Specification for Highways Works that will be introduced in 2025.  He has also led the digitalisation of the DMRB at the same time to make these requirements available in a machine-readable format by design software, estimating software and other software.  Prior to taking up the role of leading the Technical Standards Group in National Highways, Steve had a varied career across the highways sector including traffic engineering, highway maintenance, highway management for high-profile sporting events, highway design and site-based delivery for national Highways, local highway authorities and consultants.
